KISS Album {Senatobia, MS Portrait Photographer}
Posted on January 31, 2012
This afternoon, I delivered this beautiful wedding album to a client. They decided to add a KISS album to the wedding collection they purchased and I was super excited to design this for them! It was my first time ordering from KISS and I have to say, I was very impressed with this album maker. From the ease of ordering to the finished product, it was a wonderful experience. This album is a 10×10, 40 page Leather Kiss in brown. The quality is amazing and I absolutely love it. The albums also come with a chic, boutique cloth cover for protection. How cute! As I was looking through it this morning, it was so beautiful, it actually gave me goosebumps. It’s a true family heirloom that will be shared for generations…and that makes me sooo happy.
Isn’t it just gorgeous?? I also wanted to include a few of my favorite spreads here as well, as I didn’t have time to get pictures of them all this morning. Each layout is a 2 page spread.
Thank you so much, April & Timothy for allowing me to be a part of your day. I wish you two all the best in your future together!
Life’s a Blur

From my 2012 personal project: Life’s a Blur
Not sure why I love out of focus images so much…maybe it’s because you need to use some imagination to fully appreciate the pictures. And everyone will see something a little differently…Whatever it is, I am really enjoying this project and seeing shots in a totally different way.
Candy Hearts

One of my favorite things about Valentine’s Day is candy hearts..or conversation hearts, as they’re called. They don’t really taste so great, but they sure are fun to decorate with and to photograph.
Justin & Kelly {Downtown E-Session}
Posted on January 10, 2012
Meet Justin and Kelly. Justin is one of my best photographer friends..actually he is one of my best friends, period. We met through photography a few years ago & I’m so glad we did. He got me involved with the Desoto Camera Club, introduced me to the Strobist blog and OCF (off camera flash). We’ve shot a lot of personal work together and a few weddings back in the day. I always learn something when I work with him. So I was really excited (and a little nervous) to shoot this session..it’s always a little nerve wracking shooting for another photographer! But I think it worked out well. We had a lot of fun and I even got to practice a little OCF with his equipment. Kelly is the sweetest and these two have such a great relationship! I wish them all the best together and can’t wait for their wedding day..I’ll cry, I already know..:)

So, here they are, in no particular order. I couldn’t include every picture or every session/wedding or this post would go on for days, ha! But here’s *some* of my faves from the year. Wishing you all a very happy New Year from Sherry Ross Photography!
